Los Dias de la Creacion. (The Days of Creation).
«The Creation of the World
1 In the beginning, Yahweh created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Yahweh was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 And Yahweh said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And Yahweh saw that the light was good. And Yahweh separated the light from the darkness. 5 Yahweh called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6 And Yahweh said, “Let there be an expanse[a] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” 7 And Yahweh made[b] the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. 8 And Yahweh called the expanse Heaven.[c] And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
9 And Yahweh said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. 10 Yahweh called the dry land Earth,[d] and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And Yahweh saw that it was good.
11 And Yahweh said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants[e] yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And Yahweh saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.
Genesis (1-13)
14 And Yahweh said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, [a] and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. 16 And Yahweh made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17 And Yahweh set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Yahweh saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.
Genesis (14-19)
And Yahweh said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So Yahweh created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And Yahweh saw that it was good. Yahweh blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. And Yahweh said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. Yahweh made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And Yahweh saw that it was good
Genesis (20-25)
Génesis 1:26-28 «And Yahweh said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’ So Yahweh created mankind in his own image, in the image of Yahweh he created them; male and female he created them. Yahweh blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.’»
Genesis (26-28)
Génesis 1:29-31 «Then Yahweh said, ‘I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.’ And it was so. Yahweh saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day».
